Jungle Hunt

Through jungle grasses tall and green
Slip golden eyes, sleek form unseen
From far away she spots the herd
And slinks on silent paws unheard
Unknowing, peaceful, grazing deer
Serene the herd, they have no fear.

She hunts the beasts, and crouching lower
Muscles bunched with quivering power
Released, unleashed, in bounding speed
She hunts in glory, she hunts for need.
Teeth and fangs and deadly claws
Deathblow struck with massive paws.

Mighty huntress brings death proudly
Her roar of triumph echoes loudly.
Hot chunks of meat torn from the beast

With lowered head she starts to feast.
Oh, graceful death in beauteous shape

Your lethal charm none can escape.
