An Answered Prayer

What do you do
When things look bleak;
When life is tough;
When your soul is weak?

What do you do
When Love has gone;
When you're all alone,
When you have no one?

Who has the power
To heal a bruised heart;
Hearts trampled and broken,
And torn all apart?

Christ is the answer!
The Lord is the cure;
With power and strength
And a Love, oh, so pure.

He soothes the bleak soul
And mends the sad heart;
He gives to your life
A brand new, fresh start.

He'll look in your heart,
He knows all your needs-
He'll give you a new Love
By planting the seeds.

He asks only for faith
And to give Him your trust;
To give your heart freely,
And not 'cause you must.

So your pain and your pride
You will leave far behind,
To live in His Word
And the peace you will find.

Together forever,
The very best friends;
He'll be your companion
Until your life ends.
