Rainbow's End

Dark clouds laden
With as yet
Unreleased fury.
Rumbling, tumbling slowly
On their way
Till the signal,
Given, is answered.
Fire streaks the sky-
Lightning finds its mark.
Driving rain strikes
A pattern in the dust.
Earth laps sweet moisture
Into herself,
Feeding hungrily:
Gentle noblewoman
No longer, but
Lusty wench.
Anger spent,
Jewels trail a
Golden path-
Rainbow's End!
