Unattractive

I feel so unattractive-
So very young and dumb...
Whenever you are near me, my
Thoughts freeze, my tongue goes numb.
My good sense just deserts me
While I search for words to say...
What could it be about you
That makes me feel this way?
Is it that wicked wit you have?
Could it be those laughing eyes?
Is it your lips so made to kiss,
Or your thoughts so deep and wise?
Will I always be on the outside?
Will you ever let me in?
Can you make room inside your heart,
And let me give you joy again?
