Bay Cat

Felis (Pardofelis) badia
head and body 20 inches, tail 15 inches, weight 5 pounds
Also called the Bornean Red Cat, it has a bright chestnut coat with slight spots on the underparts and legs, and faint stripes on the face. It has a round head, small blackish-brown, rounded ears.
Habitat: Dry open areas, semi-desert, light woodlands, and acacia scrublands.
Habits: Hunts by day or night. Terrestrial.
Prey: Small deer and antelope, hares.
Distribution: Africa and South Asia.
