Pallas' Cat

Pallas' cat is very similar to the lynx in it's facial structure. It has a large body and short, sturdy legs. The head is very short and broad, with wide-set blunt ears, and large, round eyes. The coat is long and silky, and varies from light gray to russet, with white tips to the hairs, giving a sparkling appearance to the coat. There are dark cheek lines, and rings on the dark tipped tail. Lips, chin, and throat are white.
Habitat: Rocky plateaus and riverbanks.
Habits: Mainly nocturnal. Terrestrial.
Prey: Small mammals and birds.
Distribution: Central Asia.
